Every year the group works on different case studies in order to identify the best operation and
management practices used by metropolitan transport companies, thus providing a specialised work
forum of similar dimensions and with common problems.
This methodology allows all the companies involved to benefit from the synergies of the other
members, by analysing and implementing solutions that have been successfully tried and tested in
other countries.
At present, Metro de Madrid is actively participating in the case studies, leading
improvement projects that will enable it to offer a better service to the public, achieve greater
efficiency in its processes and develop new products and services.
