The National Marketing Association has awarded Metro de Madrid the National Marketing Prize for its entire 2008 strategy, granted in the category of awards to Institutions, selected from among more than two hundred.
Metro de Madrid has been recognised by AMPE, the Association of Spanish Advertising Media, with three silver awards in the Ampe 2009 prizes for its advertising campaigns, two for “El otro Madrid (the other Madrid)”, one each in the categories of TV and of Film, and one for the piece “Esfinge (Sphinx)” in the graphics category.
Metro de Madrid has received Manuel Seijas y Lozano Award from the Foundation for the Promotion of Industrial Innovation created by the Polytechnic University, for its outstanding commitment to technology and R+D+i projects and in recognition of its public efforts in favour of Industrial Engineering.

This award is granted by BSColl, an organisation presided over by Doctors Norton and Kaplan, creators of the Balanced Scorecard and other key concepts for business management from a strategic perspective. A place in the Hall of Fame for Executing Strategy has been granted to other organisations of renowned prestige international, such as Siemens, Mobil, AT&T, UPS, BMW, Canon, Motorola, as well as the Spanish entities, Endesa and Puertos del Estado. Metro de Madrid is the first company in the rail transport sector to receive this award, which has reinforced its position as a benchmark in the area of business management.
