Metro de Madrid, as a modern company and implicated with society and the environment, has a commitment to the citizens that is materialised in the development of a Social Responsibility Policy. This is reflected in all the commitments we assume with our interest groups in order to respond to the main demands that arise and are present in all the activities we carry out. This is why we believe that it is important for everyone to be aware of it, to share it and to help us carry it out. For this purpose we establish different projects, depending on the area affected:

What commitments do we have with our employees?

- We establish communication mechanisms that enable easy and transparent dialogue and facilitate employee participation
- We provide opportunities for personal and professional, encouraging teamwork and individual initiative, and identifying and promoting talent within the company
- We guarantee a safe and healthy work environment .

What commitments do we have with our clients?

- We establish effective communication channels that make it possible to find out their needs and anticipate their demands.
- We guarantee an excellent service in terms of quality, safety, efficiency and accessibility .
- We make a greater effort in innovation, with a view to achieving significant improvement in the development of transport infrastructure and give greater added value to the services offered.

What commitments do we have the Public Administrations?

- We carry out transparent, reliable and precise management, ensuring strict compliance with the prevailing legislation and regulations.
- We collaborate actively with the Public Administrations in the development of sustainable transport, promoting the use of public transport and mobility within the region.
- We maintain a spirit of continuous improvement in all our activities, encouraging research, development and innovation in the services provided.

What commitments do we have with society?

- We establish constant, bidirectional and transparent dialogue, opening the appropriate communication channels in order to find out and cater for society's expectations.
- We are a socially viable benchmark company providing a quality service to cover current and future transport needs and, furthermore, we are a reference point as a company that cares for the environment.
- We comply with the most rigourous ethical standards in providing our services, offering equal treatment, with no discrimination.

What commitments do we have with our suppliers?

- We establish long-term, trustworthy relationships to foster development and quality in the services provided, through teamwork and the establishment of win-win agreements that give mutual benefits.
- We demand the most rigourous ethical standards in financial, social and environmental terms when selecting suppliers.
- We align suppliers with the quality goals of Metro de Madrid, to ensure that future services commissioned are beneficial to both the company and the customers.

We can only fully implement this Corporate Social Responsibility Policy with the implication of all members of Metro, which means that fulfilment of this policy is the responsibility of all members of the organisation, from top management down through all levels in the company.
