  • The Regional Government of Madrid has started a comprehensive digital transformation plan at Metro de Madrid and today, the President of the Autonomous Community of Madrid Ángel Garrido, accompanied by the Secretary for Transport, Housing and Infrastructure Rosalía Gonzalo, has visited the Station 4.0 Technological Centre (Centro Tecnológico de la Estación 4.0 or CTE), where this technological revolution is brewing
  • In this centre, located at Canillejas, new commercial products are tested and approved so they can later be submitted to the public tenders called by Metro —which will turn a hundred years this autumn— for the renovation of the stations.
  • Garrido's visit to the Station 4.0 Technological Centre where Metro station systems are tested for use in the next decades.

  • More works are set to start in the coming weeks at Bilbao, Gran Vía, Plaza Elíptica and Príncipe de Vergara Stations
  • These works are part of the Accessibility Plan 2016-2020, which includes the installation of 84 lifts at 33 stations
