Description of works
The service between Barrio del Puerto and San Fernando Metro stations, on line 7B, is temporarily suspended to undertake the actions included in the Integral Action Plan for Line 7B, which includes the signalling renewal works for the technological update of the CBTC system (communications-based train control) and which are a preliminary step to the ground consolidation and stabilisation work.
Parallel to this action, since 3 June, waterproofing work has been undertaken on the tunnel in the section that has been closed since August 2022, between the stations of San Fernando de Henares and the Hospital Universitario de Henares, now joining the new affected section.
