If you like comics and you know all about Metro, you have a mandatory stop at The Nave de Motores de Pacífico. Since last December, this facility, which forms part of the Metro Museums, has been hosting a free exhibition that combines the art of comic strips with the culture of urban transport: "Metro Cómic. A journey through comic strips". 

The exhibition includes a selection of national and international works in the drawings of which metro is the protagonist, showing how this everyday space can be transformed into a metaphor for contemporary life. Forges, Máximo, Ibáñez, Mingote... the great cartoonists have at one time or another turned their gaze to tunnels and underground spaces to tell their stories. The tour begins with Fantasy travels in metro, inspired by a comic published by Metro in 1980 to discover the underground system and imaginary destinations. 

The exhibition also explores the use of the ninth art for informative and institutional purposes due to its comprehensible language, capable of explaining complex issues to everyone. During the visit, users can discover Metrographies, a project that uses comic strips to tell the story of the origins of the Madrid metropolitan company and its link with electricity, through interwoven stories. 

The exhibition is proving to be a great success and more than 5,000 people have already visited The Nave de Motores de Pacífico in just three months.
