Colombia, closer by underground
On the occasion of the 80th edition of the Madrid Book Fair, at which Colombia is the guest country and coinciding with the 140th anniversary of the start of diplomatic relations between Spain and Colombia, Colombia underground station will now have two walls covered by huge and striking murals.
Metro de Madrid and the Colombian Embassy signed an agreement to provide mutual support in publicizing the social, cultural, landscape, ethnic, agricultural and environmental wealth of the country at the hands of Colombia artists, while encouraging the use of the underground as a mode of transport.
