The emblematic Sol station was the setting chosen by Metro de Madrid to inaugurate its Christmas activities, with an exceptional sponsor: David Bisbal. 

The singer performed some of his best-known songs in the main hall and then went to the platform for line 3, where he was able to take a ride on the Metro Christmas train. 

In this edition, it is illuminated and decorated with nutcrackers, bows and Christmas baubles and with red, green and blue as the main colours. The train will be running until 6 January and users will be able to find out when and where it passes on Metro's X account.

Father Christmas and his elves will be on the Christmas Train on Fridays and weekends, as well as on 22, 23 and 24 December. From 26th of December to the 5th of January, the pages of Their Majesties the Three Kings of the East will accompany passengers of the underground on line 3. 

This is just the beginning... over the next few weeks Metro will bring new surprises and activities for passengers. Stay tuned.
