Have you already used one of the trains with green marked seats?
We have started to mark all Metro trains with green priority seats to ensure that people with reduced mobility, the elderly and pregnant women can travel safely and comfortably. This initiative aims to improve the visibility of these spaces and make them easier for users to identify, leaving them free for those who really need them.
They have already been installed on some 300 seats on line 3 and another 300 on line 10 and will be progressively installed on all lines until they are extended to all trains within a maximum of two years, which will mean the visibility of around 7,000 priority seats.
Until now, they were only marked with blue stickers on the windows above the seats. The green colour will now improve their visibility and make them easier for users to identify, so that they are better respected and it is ensured that they are used by those who need them most.
