Rombo is a monster who lives in the deepest station of the Metro network, Cuatro Caminos with his friends Elipa, who represents Line 2, Estrella, who refers to Line 9, Blas to Line 7 and Callao to Line 5.

All these characters teach the youngest members of the family some of the main characteristics of the underground and how to use it. 

This book is central to the initiative “A Journey with Metro”, which is being developed as part of Metro de Madrid's AulaMetro educational programme. This school activity, which has been included as a novelty in the 2025-2026 school year, is aimed at students in the 2nd and 3rd year of kindergarten. This way, the use of the metro is taught and promoted to the passengers of the future.
