Metro de Madrid, more accessible every day

The Madrid underground will have 41 new lifts distributed over 12 stations

New lifts will be installed at Begoña (L1), Ventas (L2 and L5), Avenida de América (L4, L6, L7 and L9), San Bernardo (L2 and L4) and Diego de León (L6, L7 and L9) stations under Metro’s Accessibility and Inclusion Plan, which seeks to break the architectural barriers and facilitate the travel plans of the people of Madrid.

The works for their installation will commence in the first quarter of 2022 and be completed in about three years. Don’t miss the video if you want to see the details of this new project.
