User reading a book on a Metro train

New Podcast: A very literary Metro

This week we celebrate Book Day and we invite you to listen to a new episode of our podcast, in which we talk to readers and writers and review Metro's most literary initiatives.

Who hasn't missed a Metro station because they were engrossed in reading?

There was a time, long ago, when our grandmothers and grandfathers even learnt to read by spelling out the names of Metro stations. Today, Metro trains and platforms are a great reading areas for the 2 million daily passengers.

But Metro is not just a place to read. It is also the setting and inspiration for writers. Let's go on a literary tour through the Madrid underground, in which we will review texts, books and authors.
