You can now see the most revolutionary advertising on the Metro network
If you've been to Sol station, you'll know what we're talking about. You can already see the most futuristic advertising system imaginable in this central station. From now on, the stations will have much more technological and spectacular media created specifically for this means of transport.
The company JC Decaux, concessionaire of the advertising management of the network, is installing 500 digital screens in more than 100 stations, which will be adapted to each environment and will take into account the characteristics of the different stations. Among the most innovative media are digital billboards, full-screen displays and large format digital led screens that will transform the most emblematic and busiest spaces such as Sol, Gran Vía and Nuevos Ministerios. In addition to these, they will also be in Moncloa, Plaza de España, Plaza de Castilla, Gregorio Marañón, Callao, Atocha and Cuatro Caminos, among others.
The digital transformation, which is taking place in the Metro network, is provided by JCDecaux, after winning the public tender for the advertising concession for which Metro will earn €10.5 million per year. The company has created innovative devices that will contribute to making Metro de Madrid the most digitalised underground in the continent and the first data-driven advertising space in Spain.
