Metro activates its special arrangements for the Three Kings Parade reinforcing their staff with more than 250 people in the affected stations
It will affect lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10. The service reinforcement will start at 4.00 pm and will finish at around 9.30 pm

Metro de Madrid will activate special arrangements on Saturday afternoon and evening, 5 January, in order to make mobility in Madrid easier during the holding of the Three Kings Parade. Arrangements will start at 4.00 pm, when a larger number of users is expected to start using Metro services, and will finish when celebrations in Plaza de Cibeles conclude. Over 250 employees and station security and cleaning personnel will take part in these arrangements as reinforcement to the usual service.

The special arrangements will affect lines 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10, through which the main route of the parade, that will start at 6.30 pm, will be accessible. The parade itinerary, which will begin in Plaza de San Juan de la Cruz, will stream along the Paseo de la Castellana and Recoletos axis to arrive to Cibeles, where the event will conclude. Lines 4 y 5 will be those experiencing a larger increase in train service, due to the proximity of their stations to the Three Kings’ route.

For these special arrangements, Metro de Madrid will call up a large number of Metro employees and station security and cleaning personnel. In total, over 250 people will reinforce the service in the most affected stations and lines, in order to ensure and facilitate mobility between the different key points in Madrid and to speed it up within the underground network, particularly in those stations where a larger number of users is expected. The arrangements will be activated from 4.00 am until the conclusion of the event.
