Regional Government of Madrid establishes minimum Metro train services of 61% for strike called for 20, 21, 22 and 23 May
Stoppages will take place each day on different underground lines, and hence the minimum services announced also vary. Accordingly, the strike for 20 May, which has minimum train services of 60% established, will take place on lines 1, 2 and 5. On 21 May, stoppages will take place on lines 7, 9 and 12 and Ramal Ópera-Príncipe Pío and the minimum services are established at 53%. The following day, 22 May, stoppages have been announced on lines 4, 8, 11 and ML1, with minimum services established of 58%. Lastly, on 23 May, the stoppages will take place on lines 3, 6 and 10, with minimum services established of 61%.
The Regional Government of Madrid has established these minimum services so as to guarantee the necessary mobility and the provision of an essential service for citizens. The company will report through all customer care channels (public address, display monitors, customer service centres, signs in stations, digital channels, etc.) the times of theses stoppages and the services that are available for users of the Metro network.
