Regional Government of Madrid enables adapted transport service for users of Hospital del Henares station

Jarama station
Vehicles will connect Jarama and Hospital del Henares stations on line 7b. Persons with reduced mobility may request the service in the station or by phone

As from today, the Regional Government of Madrid will start up an adapted transport service that will connect Jarama and Hospital del Henares stations on line 7b. The aim is to offer an alternative form of transportation to persons with reduced mobility that habitually use the latter station while works continue to repair the two lifts at the station, affected by some minor movements in the structure making it advisable, on grounds of safety, to perform works to consolidate the partitions and interior cladding of both lifts.

During such time as the works last, persons with reduced mobility that need to attend the health centre served by this underground line may request this special service, which will be provided by adapted vehicles that cover the journey without any additional cost for these passengers. In order to activate this service, interested parties may opt to call the Metro Customer Care Service on 917 796 399 / 902 444 403, which will directly handle the transfer, or make the request directly to the Commercial Supervisor at the station they wish to start the journey from (Hospital del Henares or Jarama underground stations).
