Metro de Madrid is the most highly rated form of public transport by TripAdvisor users that visited the Region of Madrid – the largest digital platforms for travel in the world, with an average score of 4.5 out of 5. The passengers that posted their assessment on this portal described their experience on the Madrid underground as outstanding.

Metro de Madrid holds the Certificate of Excellence that TripAdvisor grants those places that constantly receive excellent opinions from travellers. Specifically, since 2015 TripAdvisor has collected a total of 8,959 opinions from travellers using Metro. Of these opinions, more than 88% are ‘excellent’ (5,109) or ‘very good’ (2,899).

Thanks to these scores, the Madrid underground holds first place in the portal’s ranking of public transport companies in the Region of Madrid according to the ratings of users, and third from among the 94 public and private transport companies in the Region.
