Regional Government of Madrid increases train services by up to 55% due to match at Santiago Bernabéu stadium

Train numbers will also be increased on Line 9 as several concerts will be held at Rivas Vaciamadrid, and on Line 6 due to the public exams called by Correos at the Complutense University campus

The Regional Government of Madrid will increase train services on Sunday, 12 September on Line 10 by up to 55%, due to the football match to be held between Real Madrid and Celta de Vigo, with kick-off at 21.00 at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

Train services will be increased as from 20.00 and continue until the start of the match, and will be resumed once the match has ended, as from 22.45, which is when the largest increase in train numbers will be implemented.

In addition, Metro de Madrid will also have several trains on stand-by on Line 1 in the event that it becomes necessary to increase the service on this line, should passenger numbers make this advisable.

Furthermore, Metro de Madrid will increase the number of trains by up to 50% on Line 9B, due to the concerts that will be held as part of the local celebrations in Rivas Vaciamadrid at the Miguel Ríos Auditorium on 11 and 12 September. The increases will take place before (19:30) and after (from midnight to 01.30) the events

The Regional Government of Madrid will also increase the number of trains on Sunday, 12 September by 29% on Line 6 due to the exams called by Correos at the Complutense University campus. This increase will begin at 07.00 and continue until 09.30, just before the exams start at 10.00 This will resume in the afternoon, from 18.00 to 20.00, when they are due to end.

The customer service and security staff at the stations nearby these events will also be stepped up to ensure passenger flows are unaffected.
