The Regional Government of Madrid will increase services on lines 1, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 of the underground on Tuesday, by up to 42%, due to the parade by the Armed Forces on the National Day of Spain, which will take place this year between Plaza de Cuzco and Nuevos Ministerios in the Spanish capital.

The additional services of the Madrid underground will began at 9 am and continue until the end of the celebration, at around 12:30 pm. In addition, for security reasons, Santiago Bernabéu station (Line 10) will remain closed from the start of the service to 2 pm, while all the EMT bus lines that run in the area will also be affected.

In addition, all the lines on stations close to the location where the parade will be held will enjoy additional services, between Plaza de Cuzco and Nuevos Ministerios, particularly on Line 10, and the number of customer care personnel will also be stepped up to ensure the service operates correctly and ensure suitable mobility in the zone.

The increased number of trains will be complemented by specific support for the maintenance of the installations and security details. The enterprise also plans to organise the potential flows of people entering and exiting the closest stations to ensure the normal transit of passengers. Should it become necessary, and in order to avoid build-ups, posters will be placed to facilitate the transit of users.
