The Official Gazette of the Region of Madrid has published the public tender for the service contracts for both works. They include the technical support work in relation to expropriations, quality control and archaeology, among other aspects

The Regional Government of Madrid has published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Madrid (BOCM) the public tender for the service contracts to commence the works to extend Line 3 of the underground from Villaverde Alto to El Casar (Getafe) and to proceed to the construction of the Valdebebas-Ciudad de la Justicia-Hospital Zendal interchange, for the sum of 4.39 million and 1.99 million euros respectively.

These contracts supplement the main contracts for the two works, which include the performance of all the activities and the contribution of all the resources necessary for the support work for decision-making, coordination with other bodies and the technical and economic supervision of the contracts, along with the monitoring of quality control.

Furthermore, the lots include the technical support service in relation to expropriations, environmental issues, the services affected and their replacement services, quality control, geology, geotechnical issues, tunnels, underground stations, pump shafts, ventilation shafts, emergency exits, all the installations that require a railway infrastructure (underground) for their operation, roads, drainage, structures, health and safety and any other material related to the works as may be required.

The contracts are to organise the works, coordinate the health and safety on work sites and provide technical assistance for both projects included in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan financed by the European Union (Next General Funds).
