The Community of Madrid will reinforce the public transport service for the 23,000 people attending the Coca-Cola Music Experience 2023 festival, to be held on 1 and 2 September at the Caja Mágica in the Spanish capital.
In order to make it easier to exit the venue at the end of the two days, Metro line 3 will remain open until 02:30 am. Thus, from the usual closing time of the underground (01:30 am), special direct trains will run between the stations of San Fermín-Orcasur, the closest to the stadium, and Sol, with stops only at Legazpi and Embajadores for passengers to get off the train.
In addition to this extraordinary timetable, the frequency of convoys will be increased by 20% between noon and 4 pm, reaching 100% between 0:30 am and 01:30 am, with an increase in staff to speed up and correctly attend to the transit of all passengers.
Additionally, EMT will operate bus line 180 from 11:30 am to 11:30 pm, with a frequency of between 7 and 12 minutes, and later, until 01:30 am, shuttles will run only to drop off passengers at Legazpi and Atocha, with an interval of between 5 and 7 minutes.
