The Community of Madrid reinforces Metro line 3 to facilitate mobility during the Tomavistas music festival

The event starts tomorrow and will take place over two days in the Spanish capital's Caja Mágica with an expected attendance of 16,000 people. The underground will run until 3:30 am, two hours longer than usual. There will be direct trains between San Fermín-Orcasur and Sol stations, stopping only at Legazpi and Embajadores.
The Community of Madrid will reinforce Metro line 3 to facilitate the mobility of the 16,000 people expected to attend the Tomavistas music festival, which starts tomorrow and will be held on 24 and 25 May in the Spanish capital's Caja Mágica. On these two days. the underground will run until 3:30 am, two hours longer than usual, and there will also be direct trains between San Fermín-Orcasur and Sol stations, with stops only at Legazpi and Embajadores.
The musical event will conclude on both days at around 3 am, so the L3 will continue to be available to users with a 6-minute frequency between 2:30 am and 3:30 am. In the previous interval, from 1:30 am to 2:30 am, there will be a train every 15 minutes.
In addition to this extraordinary arrangement, the number of trains will be increased by up to 9% between 6:30 pm and 11 pm to facilitate the arrival of spectators, rising to 17% between midnight and 1:30 am. There will also be an increased staff presence to guarantee the proper functioning of the service and ensure an adequate flow of passengers.
