The twelve winning texts are set in the Metro network, with the first prize going to Iñaki Goitia, with Tragedia moderna, in which Don Quixote and Hamlet jump from the books they star in to the real world and travel on the Madrid underground. The author was awarded a nominative cheque for €1,500.
The other finalists were Juan Luis Mora, with Plan de fuga; María Borrell, with Manchas; Daniel José Barrera, with Vagón vacío; Sara Sánchez, with Mi musa; Carmen María Redondo, with Recuerdos azul celeste; Patricia Gómez-Rey, with ¡Llego tarde, llego tarde!; Francisco Javier Cano, with Bienvenido; Inés Gimeno, with Me quedo; Sara Blanco, with Amor Ciego; Raúl Clavero, with Imaginaciones tuyas; and Gloria Moreno, with Ambivalencia.
All the authors of the winning micro-stories have received a poster with their printed text and will receive an enrolment fee for an intensive course given by Escuela de Escritores during the current year.
In addition, the winning works will be disseminated in different advertising media of the network, as well as inside the trains, including a QR code so that they can also be accessible via audio.
