The Community of Madrid reinforces public transport on the occasion of the All Saints' Day festivities

The mobility plan designed by the Regional Transport Consortium is designed to handle the increased demand for visitors to Madrid's cemeteries. Metro will increase lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 by up to 150% from 9 pm on Thursday, 31 October until the end of the service on 1 November. The Regional Transport Consortium, a body dependent on the Regional Ministry for Housing, Transport and Infrastructure, has approved a mobility plan to handle the increased demand of visitors to Madrid's cemeteries.
On the one hand, Metro will increase lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 by up to 150% from 9 pm on Thursday, 31 October until the end of the service on 1 November. EMT has also programmed an increase of up to 23 additional buses on eight routes, which are the ones that cover the route near the cemeteries of the region.
One of the best ways to get to the cemetery of La Almudena is bus 110, which departs from Plaza de Manuel Becerra. This route accesses the interior of the cemetery. Other alternatives are bus 106 Plaza de Manuel Becerra-Vicálvaro and 113 Méndez Álvaro-Plaza de Ciudad Lineal, which have stops nearby.
You can get to Carabanchel cemetery on bus 108 Oporto-Cementerio de Carabanchel and 118 Glorieta de Embajadores-Avenida de La Peseta, which have stops at the gates of the cemetery.
To facilitate entry to the South Cemetery, citizens can make use of the special route that departs from Plaza Elíptica (SE702). To get to the Fuencarral cemetery, passengers can use the special line that goes there from Plaza de Castilla (SE704) and lines 134 and 178 (Plaza de Castilla-Montecarmelo).
Finally, to get to the cemetery of San Isidro, we advise taking bus 17 Plaza Mayor-Colonia Parque Europa, 25 Plaza de España-Casa de Campo and 50 Plaza Mayor-Avenida del Manzanares.
