The event will run from 21 to 24 May at the Moncloa, Ópera and Chamberí stations. Live recordings of ‘Keep it cutre’, ‘Pódcast: el pódcast’ and ‘Mimicidios’ will take place right in the heart of Moncloa station and in the Chamberí museum. There will also be a workshop on sound fiction, giving young people the chance to learn directly from industry professionals.

Metro de Madrid will play host to the recording of several of today’s most popular podcasts as part of its participation in the fourth edition of the ‘Estación Pódcast’ festival, which was officially launched today at the Nave de Motores de Pacífico. The event will take place from 21 to 24 May at various locations throughout the Madrid underground network.

On 21 May, the Moncloa station will be the venue for the ‘Keep it cutre’ podcast with Ángela Henche and Albanta San Román. Then, on Friday the 23rd, the same spot will set the stage for ‘Pódcast: el pódcast’, featuring Miguel Campos, Laura del Val and Jorge Yorya. Metro passengers passing through the station on those days might just be surprised by the live recordings happening around them.

Meanwhile, the legendary ghost station of Chamberí will open its doors to a select group of attendees, chosen through a social media giveaway, who will experience ‘Mimicidios’, Miren Jaurne's true crime podcast, on 23 May.

Finally, on 24 May, the Caños del Peral museum, located within Ópera station, will host ‘Podcastón’: a sound fiction workshop. Up to 20 participants aged 16 to 30 will have the opportunity to learn from leading professionals in the field, free of charge.

Through this initiative, Metro de Madrid joins other festival venues in showing its ongoing commitment to promoting culture among passengers and actively engaging in the daily life of the city, adding extra value to the public service it provides.
