The Community of Madrid reinforces public transport for the celebration of Carlos Sainz's Formula 1 exhibition

On Saturday 7 June, the Community of Madrid will reinforce the Metro service on Line 8 by up to 100% and up to 15% on L4 to facilitate access to the live F1 exhibition that Carlos Sainz will be staging in the streets around IFEMA.
The special arrangements, in collaboration with the sponsors of the show, will be operational from 4 pm to speed up and help with the traffic of the audience attending the event. However, by ministerial order, departures from Feria de Madrid station must be closed from 5.30 pm to 8 pm. It is therefore advisable to arrive at the event before that time to avoid possible traffic jams and congestion in the exhibition area.
In addition to Feria de Madrid station (L8), it is recommended to use other stations close to the track, such as Mar de Cristal (L4 and L8) and Canillas (L4).
In this respect, the event organisers, in collaboration with the Municipal Transport Company, have designed a shuttle service from the Mar de Cristal, Canillas and Barajas Metro stations, which will connect directly with the exhibition centres.
