Metro is extending the timetable of line 3 until 3.30 am from Thursday to Saturday with a special service between Villaverde Alto and Sol.

The Community of Madrid has approved a special mobility plan to reinforce public transport for the Mad Cool 2025 festival at the Iberdrola Music venue, located in the Villaverde district. It will start tomorrow and end on 13 July, also covering the Brunch Electronik event.

Specifically, this measure of the Regional Transport Consortium (CRTM) involves extending the Metro Line 3 timetable from Thursday to Saturday until 3.30 am. This service will operate between Villaverde Alto and Sol stations, with stops at Legazpi and Embajadores, and frequencies ranging from 6.5 to 15 minutes. In addition, the underground staff will be reinforced with up to 83 additional members distributed at different points of the network, with the goal of facilitating the flow of passengers during the concerts.

The Municipal Transport Company (EMT) will provide a night-time shuttle service between Villaverde Alto and Atocha, with an intermediate stop at Legazpi for passenger drop-off only, which will operate from Thursday to Saturday between 0.30 and 3.30 am, with intervals of 5 to 10 minutes. In addition, users will have access to regular bus lines 22, 79, T41 and N14, as well as an extensive network of city and inter-city buses in Getafe.

Moreover, those who wish to use taxis or ride-hailing services will be authorised to use two different areas. In this regard, the regional government reminds the public that private hire vehicles may not accept passengers who have not previously hired them, in application of the new regulation in Madrid. Similarly, the fare may not exceed 75% of the usual fare for that journey. All the information regarding the special arrangements is available on the Regional Transport Consortium website https://www.crtm.es/.
