Metro de Madrid has sold out in record time its new exclusive high-end watch. The 50 numbered units of the Berbier model, made of stainless steel and sapphire crystal, sold out in ten hours after going on sale at the new shop in the Ópera station yesterday morning.

Metro de Madrid has once again won over its fans with the launch of this new official product: an exclusive top-of-the-range watch that has been a great success. Only 50 numbered units had been produced, at a price of €395, which has contributed to making it an object of desire for collectors and lovers of the Madrid underground. The design incorporates the Metro logo and the colours of the twelve lines of the network to mark the hours, as well as a digital card with instructions, warranty and specifications.

Along with this exclusive model, Metro de Madrid has launched another watch with a similar design, but with interchangeable silicone straps in four colours (black, blue, red and yellow), available for €120. This second model is still on sale in the Ópera shop, as well as in the Sol and Plaza de Castilla shops, and on the official website: www.latiendademetrodemadrid.com.

Metro's corporate shop, which was launched in 2012, has since offered a wide range of products: books, household items, toys, pet accessories and even original station elements, such as the Santiago Bernabéu signage, which sold out in just half an hour.

The best selling products include the sports shoes designed by Tito Customs for the company's 105th anniversary, with more than 1,200 pairs sold, and the Christmas jumper, which has broken records with more than 3,000 units sold in each of its two editions.

With this new watch, Metro de Madrid once again demonstrates its ability to connect with its users through unique products that combine design, history and exclusivity.
